Please keep this coaster. It is the best ride at Carowinds, And one of the last remaining rides from the park's early years.

Fantastic roller coaster! Grew up riding Thunder Road. It was my first "grown up" ride. Don't take this away from future generations!

This is a big mistake to get rid of Thunder Road. Take out the Hurler instead. This coaster such an iconic piece of the parks history. There has to be some other way to accomplish your goals without tearing this one down.

If you're getting rid of a coaster, get rid of hurler or vortex. They are painful and unenjoyable. Thunder road actually gives me a thrill.

my dad, Harmon Merritt, now deceased, helped to build Thunder Road. It was one of his favorite memories and he loved to tell stories about it.

I know everything changes but some things need to be left alone. Please don't take the coaster away. It still makes you money. It was my first coaster.

Please don't get rid of the ride! It is history! I understand its an old ride but use some of the money the park makes and etc and restore it!

This ride was to celebrate it's 40th next season. I think that it won't go anywhere, but we won't know for sure. Let's hope it stays!
