Thunder road was one of my favorite rides. I rode it 9 times in one day. If you tear down this ride, it will really make me sad. I love this ride too much.

Getting rid of Thunder Road is simply NOT Best for Business. Thunder Road is an ICONIC Ride at Carowinds. If Carowinds wants to move it to another area of the park so be it. Thunder Road is the only Racing Coaster Carowinds has..being that the Carolinas is NASCAR Country...taking out Carowinds only signature RACING Coaster makes no sense at all. Taking out Thunder Road would be like Disney taking out Pirates of Caribbean.... I understand expansion and new rides and so forth..but again Thunder Road is ICONIC..It is Part of Carowinds History That Should NOT be Erased. . Carowinds would not be the same without it. Just rebuild Thunder Road in another part of the park... get rid of the Hurler instead... The people running Carowinds had talked about bringing more of a Carolina themed look to the park....getting rid of Thunder Road is not the way to go.. KEEP THUNDER ROAD RACING!!!!!!!!!!

Save thunder road. It had a big impact on my childhood. I remember the thunder road store, buying a pin, going backwards, and the iconic signs as you ascended the hill "grit your teeth, bear the load, enjoy your ride on thunder road".

This was the first coaster I ever rode. It's an amazing ride and I love it! It's a classic and wooden roller coasters are the best!

I love carowinds, and if it where to be with thunder road I don't know if ill be able to keep going. I even remember when it had one car that when backwards. PLEASE DO NOT RETIRE SUCH AN ICONIC COSTER!

this ride terrified me as a child and gave me many nightmares. I finally got the courage to ride it when I was 25. Now it's my favorite roller coaster. Thunderroad is an anchor. It should stay.
