nooooooool!!! please don't! There's so many changes taking place in every aspect of life. Why this?!! It may not mean much to you, but it does to me and soooo many people I know. Please change your mind. Take down something else. Not thunder road, Carolina cyclone, gold rush, etc. you already took away smurf island.

Plus I only lived right down the road from there in Fort Mill, SC. Rode my bicycle there as a kid.

This ride is iconic Carowinds. Lots of stuff in the park has changed, some for the better. There are some rides that deserve to stand and have earned their place in the history of the park, regardless of the parks current ownership. Show some respect for T-Road!

I remember how proud I was the first time I was tall enough to ride Thunder Road with my old man. My sons first time was 2 years ago & I was right beside him.

The first job I had I worked on Thunder Road, had an awesome group of people I worked with...Hunter, Dottie n Jon and a few others. Even got Paula Abdul's autograph. Please dont get ride of the coaster, to many memories that ride holds. Enjoyed workin on the ride.

Thunder Road is an iconic roller coaster that 1,000s have enjoyed! I feel like I wont want to return to Carowinds if they tear it down. I don't care what fancy gismo they put there, Im 13 and Thunder Road was once of the First roller coasters I enjoyed.

I love thunder road! And it's a great coaster to ride for your first roller coaster experience if you never have road a coaster before. It's nice to start off small and slow and then move up to bigger and faster coaster like the intimidator and fury. PLEASE KEEP THUNDER ROAD!!

Cedar Point has a wooden iconic coaster - so should the Carolinas! Keep Thunder Road, Cedar Fair!!!!!
