I am still honestly stunned by how many of you feel the same way about our local news. It turns out this is not just my personal concern because I keep reading your messages about how much this paper means to our state.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you care about our local news and I feel lucky to be a part of this effort. We are almost at two hundred and fifty signatures because of your help so please keep getting the word out to anyone who loves our paper.

I honestly did not think this would reach one hundred signatures when I first hit publish. It is surreal to see so many people care about our local news and I am grateful that you are all paying attention.

so sad to think of our state without a real paper. please keep it running.
We need the Strib. Plain and simple.
How will we know what's going on at the capitol without them. Local news matters.

Dont let the lights go out. We need real journalists digging into the stories that matter here.
