Recently, proposed legislation (HB 1250) in the State of Colorado has taken aim at Colorado Medical Marijuana infused edible products. Specifically trying to eliminate medical marijuana soda's, and products that might be construed as being marketed towards children. Medical Marijuana should never be marketed towards children and Representative Cindy Acree has every right to be concerned about out of state companies trying to enter the Colorado market with products designed to appeal towards children. What Mrs. Acree has failed to see however, is that there are a number of MMJ soda and beverage companies currently operating in Colorado who have taken it upon themselves to ensure their marketing is directed towards Medical Marijuana patients only. To eliminate all medical marijuana soda companies from doing business would deny tens of thousands of medical marijuana patients a product that brings them tremendous medical relief. Sign this petition to support the existing Colorado Medical Marijuana companies that have worked diligently to ensure their products are marketed and sold only to eligible medical marijuana patients.
