These Teachers have saved, changed, and turned around students lives. Cutting Iris Stevenson and Mr.Tarver from the curriculum is like cutting electives in college. There must be a balance. It’s unfair to the students to deny them options. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save their teaching positions within the Crenshaw HS community...it’s all I had outside academia. Felicia Bell C/O 96

LAUSD keeps up it's shameful behavior -- happy to "recognize" and "see" the teachers at a school, but failing to do anything to behave accordingly. I had the honor and privilege of teaching in the same faculty as Iris Stevenson and Al Tarver for nearly 10 years -- to see them disrespected by the district they gave so many years of service to is heartbreaking. Shame on the principal, shame on the school district. Crenshaw has stood up to the district successfully in the past. I hope the Crenshaw community is successful here too. Let's make sure of it! Whose house????
