Some much of Oceanside is changing, becoming commercialized. We have seem to be moving away from the quaint little beach community ideas,which makes having The Sea Star stay in Oceanside a must! We need to keep local business here in Oceanside! It is Great for the community and all who visit!! We don't want to lose all out charm!

The Sea Star is and should always be a part of Oceanside. Many people, including myself who was born and raised in Oceanside, grew up seeing the boat in the harbor as well as going out fishing on it. It would be a great loss to the people of Oceanside if it all disappeared. Let's not get rid of the few things, Oceanside has left. that truly make it something to remember.

We love the Sea Star. For the last 3 years our son has gone fishing with Capt Joe and crew through Oceanside Rec. This year our daughter (9yrs) joined the trip. Both kids had a good time and loved their experience!

I am a new resident of Oceanside of only 5 years and I watched a ceremony on the Sea Star it was very moving . Let's keep the Sea Star in the Harbor ! After serving the people for over 50 years ! Support and sign this petition.

As a long time Oceanside resident, it always sadden me to see an iconic piece of our city relegated to just memories. The Sea Star has been a familiar sight at the harbour. Keep it where it belong - in Oceanside - for the enjoyment of all.

I am saddened by your decision to put The Sea Star out. It has been a welcomed business in the harbor for years and held many memorials on it including my Mom's 5 years ago.
