Update April 14, 2017 Now, more than ever, we need your support. Please contact the Oceanside City Council members and Mayor letting them know of your support for the Oceanside Sea Center. Time is of the essence! The SEA (Science Education and Adventure) Center is a partnership focused on providing Oceanside’s public with an enhanced harbor experience. This will be accomplished by combining sportfishing and whale watching adventures with an expanded educational and research platform that promotes marine stewardship and sustainability. The SEA Center partnership will expand Oceanside Harbor’s commitment to the community and set it apart from all other Southern California landings. It will improve current day sportfishing and whale watching opportunities and draw additional interest from visitors interested in eco-tours, education and marine research.

I will always support Capt Joe and Sea Star Sportfishing.

Love this place. I took all my out of town friends whale watching when I lived there and I was just there in October!

I support the Sea Star / Chubasco bid to take over lease in Oceanside Harbor.

This longtime Oceanside resident and frequent harbour visitor would very much like to see Capt Joe and the Sea Star remain where it has been for many years.

I think the Sea Star should STAY IN OCEANSIDE! I think JOE is a GREAT person and does a terrific job on all the things he does for the people and kids in Oceanside .

The city of Oceanside would be amiss to lose Captain Joe and the Sea Star. As an avid sportfishing family, my family and I have taken charters out of every landing from Cayucos to San Diego and Captain Joe & crew top them all!! He is professional, he takes pride in what he does and most importantly he cares and about his community in a way that makes me want to be give more. If we had more people like Captain Joe our world would be a better place.
