Joe,Crew, and the Sea Star are like family. An unjust eviction notice has been served to Capt Joe. It is our time to come together to support Capt Joe and his crew.

We need this: sportfishing trips, sea life adventures, burials at sea (with full military honors for deceased veterans) along with floating marine science labs (the Ocean Classroom) for school children in North County.

The sea star is a GREAT company! Oceanside would not be the same without them! The only reason my family and I go to oceanside is to charter boats with the sea star and Captain Joe! If he leaves so do I!

I have chartered many boats and feel that the only Captain that I have seen that is in the business to service the community more than for profit is Captain Joe Cacciola. Prayers for the Sea Star.

Captain Joe took me out on my first sportfishing trip when I was a child. I still remember the fresh salt air blowing in my face, the yellowtail striking my bait, and when I set the hook for the first time. Everyone on board the Sea Star saw the joy on my face when that yellowtail came over the rail.
It would be an absolute shame for Captain Joe and the Sea Star to leave Oceanside. All the children who benefit from his teaching; all the grieving families who find comfort and peace from his counseling; and all the businesses in Oceanside who profit from his dedication to shop and buy locally – these people will lose the most.
I support Captain Joe and the Sea Star because his contributions to the community are so desperately needed. The only way to ensure a reliable, trustworthy charter operation continues in Oceanside is to Save the Sea Star!

My grandson had his first fishing experience on the Sea Star at the age of 10. Captain Joe and his crew made the day memorable and one of the most exciting events of Adam life when he caught his first fish. Every year since he asks Poppa when are we going fishing with Captain Joe? My friends and I make a point to take him every year. It would be a shame if other children didn't get the chance to experience this wonderful time.
