Save the Sea Star!!!!

I'm a terrible fisherman but this is an Oceanside treasure that I have been on and I hate to see it go.

I've been going there for almost forty years and now take my son. It would be great loss for allot of people

I have fished the Sea Star for many years and enjoy the evening and sometimes the rest of the weekend in Oceanside.If the boat moves I would doubt that I would have reason to come to Ocaenside again. I would just stay wherever the Sea Star runs out of. I am appalled at the way Helgren's has conducted themselves during this and will NEVER go on any of their boats again !!! The lies they have been spreading trying to be the ONLY choice in Oceanside is appalling ! I used to go on their boats also, but after a couple of not so pleasant trips I chose to only go out on the Sea Star.

It would be a foolish act not to give the sea center the run of the Oceanside harbor, captain Joe and ernie and their operations are very clean and professional and will go out of the way to provide good customer service.

Please keep the Sea Star!

The Sea Star is a great ship and represents the best Oceanside has to offer!

It sounds like the SEA STAR CENTER'S vision for the City of Oceanside Harbor is the only plan that makes sense to us!!!

Sea Star Charters has always been an integral part of our harbor and have they have consistently shown themselves to be stewards of our oceans by promoting seamanship, environmental protection and marine life sustainability. I would be sad to see them re-locate as I feel they have benefited our harbor community over the years. Sea Star Charters fill a niche that we so badly need, especially during these turbulent times in which our oceans are under assault from a number of factors, both natural and man made. We need more businesses like Sea Star Charters, please keep them in our harbor.

Keep the Sea Star in Oceanside

My children grew up in Oceanside and as a parent I can definitely see the great benefits the Sea Center will provide to visitors of all ages. I urge the City Council to approve this worth while project without further delay.

OK everyone. Time to join together once again to Save the Sea Star AND SUPPORT THE SEA CENTER. Capt. Joe needs all of this "people" now to sign the petition and keep on sharing with everyone you know. We need to wake up the Oceanside City Council so they can see what's there - the SEA Center and all that it will bring as opposed to Helgren's which is a disgrace to the Harbor!

The Sea Center were make a great addition to the Oceanside community, both for anglers and for families, it is an awesome idea!
