This program produces high quality primary care physicians. We are headed for a critical primary care shortage in the next decade. It would be a grave error for UC to close this program.

The JMP is a unique and valuable program that has graduated many socially responsible primary care physicians. This program must be continued to meet the needs of our population!

Please save the two UC campuses with their Joint Medical Program. We need more well qualified physicians as the baby boomer generation continues to retire & grow older with more complex medical situations.

This isn't a good time to cut down on training of primary care physicians.

I support the UC Berkeley and the School of Public Health and want them to continue funding the JMP. As a CA resident, wonderful healthcare for future generations matter. As a mother of daughter who loves science and might want to attend that school one day, help me pave the way so she can make it to this excellent program when she is ready! Thank you!

Small group learning and a focus on public health make the JMP a unique and incredibly valuable resource. Our community should do everything we can to train well prepared physicians; it benefits us all!

The JMP is a very unique program, one which helped me maintain my humanity and commitment to working with the urban underserved through the rigors of UCSF medical school clinical years and UCSF-SFGHMC family practice
residency.
