I had the pleasure of drumming for the production of Pippin this year. Triola and Bearden were true professionals and great people. The kids loved and responded to them, and the production was really impressive. Beyond what I expected from high school kids. Do you really think you're going to do better than them?

Mr. Triola, Mr. Bearden and any of the other teachers shouldn't get fired. Reason is because they helped us everyday pushing us over the limit making us better for what we love doing.

Bring them back because not only are they great teachers but they are family and they have shown us all a side to them that we have to hold dear to us when I was getting gay bashed Bearden did something, when I was running the risk of getting in trouble by beating some jerk deserved everything that would come their way triola stopped me and cooled my temper, when I passed out backstage triola and Bearden help me come back to consciousness even though they were busy with the show they care about each and everyone of us, they stuck their necks out for us and I will be doing the same for both of them.

I used to attend Rudd middle school, and during my time there, the place I felt the most at home was in Drama Class or on stage. The same is still true to this day even though I have changed schools since then. Many of my peers along with myself not only use theatre and other arts as an escape, but they are also passions. These are things many of us want to pursue futures in. It is unfair to take this opportunity away from students who previously had so many wonderful opportunities and such amazing support in preparation for their futures.

They shouldn't fire two amazing teachers without a good and well thought out reason or an explanation to their students. Both the drama and the band programs will suffer from this and it will cause kids to not want to attend pinson valley anymore, the majority. I know for one that many of my friends were going to stay in the band programs instead of attending other schools or stay in band just because of Mr. Bearden and now they are rethinking their decision which will make the program suffer even more. And I have heard about Mr. Triola's shows that he has put on, only described as 'amazing' and 'worthwhile' although I have never had the privelage to attend one myself. I was personally asked by Mr. Triola himself to not attend the JCIB school and stay at Pinson for the drama program which we miss at Rudd after they took it away from us and was actually pondering it and was going to attend the following shows. I even heard him talking about what he was planning for next year and it just breaks my heart that he isn't going to be there anymore. And I will make sure I'm not going to Pinson anymore because that was the only factor of my possible stay. These amazing teachers who have influenced students decisions and lives shouldn't be let go little less fired. #bringbackbeardenandtriola
