How can Pinson Valley promote Achievement, Respect, and Success when you are taking away the two directors who are teaching us how to do this?

Words cannot even express how terrible this is for Theater and music students and this community as a whole. This was the best thing we had going. The admin is so blind they dont even know that. The productions they have done are on a professional level. #forTriola #forBearden Its the kids that are hurting and losing here.

Not sure what the standards are for Mr. Turner. These are exceptional teachers that have grown their programs and made big impacts in the lives of the students they teach. Isn't that what they are supposed to do?

See you have triola who was on top of everything but other teachers can't even be bothered to put in grades

This whole thing just seems kinda stupid. You can't just randomly fire the whole staff for the fine arts. The board has no idea what they are doing anymore.

These teachers are the reasons my children have decided to stay at Pinson and not go to JCIB. All three of these fine arts teachers go above and beyond the "call of duty" for their students. Their job requires them to stay after school for practices, plan outside performances, plan and over see fundraisers, and so much more. All three of these teachers really care about their students' success and have made huge positive impacts on the lives of their students. And I think that is the most important quality a teacher can have. I am very disappointed in our school system, that lets their best and most hard working, and caring teachers go.

I it is a great shame to let go these teachers that have worked so hard and have brought respect to the arts department. My time in band in high school has taught me disipline, team work, and has gave friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I hope this is not a step to take away from the arts department, especially when the new extention to the school was for the arts.
