Mr Bearden is an outstanding band director and has raised PVHS band standards to new heights. The kids love him and work hard for him. It would be a travesty to undermine all he has done in two short years because someone has a political motive. He is a special instructor and should be rehired immediately!

I did not go to PVHS, but I did got to Rudd, and attended Pride of the Valley for two years. Pinsons band program was wonderful. There is no need to let it go.

They are the teachers who accept us. We dare to different because they have taught us that what makes us special makes us strong . they can't take away a fine arts program we will not allow it .

I personally haven't known Mr. Bearden for very long but one thing I can say about him is that he cared about his students and the people the looked up to him. I have known Mr. Triola for years now and he is like my father. In fact he is a father to me and he is the one of the only people to actually care for me. Triola has done so much for me and all firing Bearden and Triola has done is take away our family.

Bearden is like the father I've never had. We're so close and he's been there for ALL of us. Our band has improved a lot. He's brought us closer than weve ever been. There's no reason he should have been let go…

Mr. Bearden and Mr.Triola were two of the only teachers i have ever met that genuinely cared about their students. They have students a family, and a place to be their best at, and be themselves. These men made Pinson Valley a home, and without them, it feels more like a prison. These men made me and everyone else better at what they were passionate about, and we decide to fire them? Students finally have a people who care about them. students finally wanted to be the best they could for these teachers. what happens when you tear a family apart?

The band was falling apart two years ago before Bearden got there, he pulled us together, he gave us something to be proud of, he helped me through my hand being crushed and encouraged and inspired me to be the best I could on the new instrument I had to learn how to play, they can't shoot themselves in the foot like this, and if they do, I won't stick around to see it.
