The arts are a vital part of any well-rounded education. These students clearly value these teachers and their voices deserve to be heard. I would not have had any of the successes I've experienced in my academic and business career without the confidence, creativity, and problem-solving that I gained through my arts education. PVHS needs the arts. Save these programs and keep these teachers!

I think it is very unfair that these teachers are being let go, ms.timothy stepped into my life as my choir teacher 3 years ago and was absolutely amazing and inspired me through school & so did mr.triola he started out as my 12th grade mythology teacher and 12th grade English teacher then theatre teacher, he was a life coach and a very inspiring person him and mr Bearden both lifted the spirits of pinson valley students and I don't feel this is okay to just drop teachers who these students have been with for so long.

The Fine Arts program, especially band, is the AIR that gives PVHS Life. Someone has under estimated the value and power of a "respectable" Fine Arts Program. PVHS school administrators, you should be ashamed. Reverse these poor decisions. Your children and students should matter more!!!

I think it is a true shame. Brandon Triola is one of the very few teachers at PVHS that actually challenges my child to think outside the box.

Mr. Triola has done so much for the students and our theatre department. He has spent countless hours of his time working with these students. Why does it always seem that when we get something great going for our students and the school that it is always taken away! When are we going to start putting what is best for our students first!!!!

Losing these teachers will prove to be a great detriment to the school and ultimately the entire community. The correlation between the success of individuals involved in fine arts is well documented. I witnessed the impressive effect Mr Bearden had on his students and the entire band program. This is a travesty.

The fine arts was my escape and gave me an outlet to sing and dance my heart out!! Those were the ONLY teachers avalible to us that didn't discourage us emotionally and made us feel like our feelings mattered! This is a complete outrage for the students who enjoy the arts and the friendship of our teachers!
