Mr. Triola has done wonders for the theatre department. He has brought in a lot of money, and has involved many students throughout the fine arts department in his shows. He also makes you feel like family, because he knows what it's like to lose and have no one. He doesn't deserve this. He loves the theatre department and the school.

This is ridiculous! Why remove teaches that are making a big impact on their students and building the program to fantastic levels only to say you are looking for new hires to do the same thing? This only creates a gap between the community and the administration, which tears programs down.

The arts are an essential part of being a well rounded and educated person. Its disgusting that the arts never receive credit in high school. Especially when its been proven that students involved in arts have higher test scores. I truly hope this program gets saved.

These teachers are the best thing that has happened to this Fine Arts department at Pinson Valley. The arts have lacked in this area for years, and these particular teachers have stepped up and brought excellence into the school. Not only do the students need them, the community desperately needs them.

Mr. Bearden is a great music teacher and most importantly he loves those students. My middle schooler has only stuck with band because of the band directors. Please listen to the parents.

I heard about this a while ago, and I believed it without any proof. The principal is awfully rude (being that i look like a student for my appearance I had to witness what students go through just for standing near the office). I'm really sad that many students are not enjoying their high school years because of the administrators. Those four years of school are supposed to be the most memorable. I wish those who were pink slipped the best and I hope something can be resolved.

It is so sad and disappointing when politics and money are more important than education. If it is true they were let go because they were so close to tenure the administration should be ashamed. Mr. Bearden did an amazing job with the band last year - evidenced by their scores at every competition and the excellent show they presented during football season.The quality of acting Mr. Triola achieved with high school students was amazing. I hope this decision will be reversed quickly.
