Today I found out that one of our favorite local DJ's here in Bakersfield,Ca was laid off. The Dj I'm talking about goes by the name of the Real Bruce Wayne and hosts the Dark Knight show every wk day from 6-10 pm . He has been an important part of Krab Radio since I was 6 or 7 yrs old. I'm now 28. We lost him for a little while but when he moved back here he was back by popular demand.And if there was any chance that I could help get his job back and put him back on the air, I would try my best to help make that happen. I hope this will show Clear Channel Radio that he is worth so much more than his weight in gold. He interacts with his viewers, gives back to the community, & is one of hell of a DJ. To say the least it is extremely heart-breaking to turn on the Notorious station to find he's no longer there. Bruce Wayne & Danny Spanks are what make Krab radio what it is. What it has always been. and without either one of them the station in itself is not worth listening to. Krab radio may as well not even exist if Danny and Bruce were not there. You see,The spirit of the station lies within them. Krab Radio has served as the soundtrack to Life in Bakersfield & sort of a time capsule for me as well. I can't imagine how satellite radio could fill his shoes or either one of their shoes.. Nothing can replace the relationship between a listener & the DJ's they grew up with. Nor fill the void which was left behind by his absence. It can't. I hope you understand how important it is that we put him back on the air. If there is anything I can do or we the listeners can do to bring him back, well consider it done.
