Belt Loops have been a huge motivation and source of pride for my two boys (Life and Tiger). With their age difference, scouting is one of the few things they have in common. Please save the Belt Loops!

As a Den Leader, I love being able to introduce my Scouts to the Academics and Sports Program (aka: Belt Loops). One is personal for me: "Disability Awareness." Living with MS, this Belt Loop provides the opportunity to discuss my disability first hand. As a parent, I love watching my son get excited when he receives a belt loop that he has earned. He asks if he can wear his belt every day. Please Re-instate this program!

As a former Eagle Scout I can only wonder why fostering this kind of achievement process is being done away with. I had to work for every badge I ever got at every level, and I wasp round to display my achievements. I am an Eagle Scout with bronze silver and gold palms, do not do away with this program.

My son really enjoyed earning the different belt loops. It was one of fun things in cubs that kept the boys motivated and wanting to learn and do more! Please don't take them away!

My son has enjoyed earning a variety of belt loops during his last four years in Cub Scouts... two more to go & he will have earned 30! Please do not discontinue this wonderful opportunity for our boys to set & achieve belt loop goals & proudly display them with their uniforms! Thanks! :-)
