Seeing 250 names on this list gives me hope that our community will fight to keep these doors open for the animals who have nowhere else to go. My own rescue dog came from this shelter and I know firsthand what a void it would leave in the Southtowns if we lose it.

My own dog came from this shelter and I refuse to let it disappear when these animals need us most. Please push this out to your neighbors right now because we need to hit two hundred fifty signatures before local officials meet to decide our fate.

so sad... those poor animals from out of state wont have a chance if this place shuts down. please rethink this decision!!!!
KEEP IT OPEN. We need this place in the community. My dog came from there and he is the best thing that ever happened to me.
Stop closing down places that actually help the community. Fix the budget some other way instead of punishing the animals.
My family adopts from here. Closing it is a major mistake that will hurt way more pets than anyone realizes.
just awful. people cant drive an hour+ to surrender a pet so they will just let them loose. angola needs this spca.

This is ridiculous. Tonawanda is way too far for anyone in the Southtowns. They are setting these poor animals up to be dumped on the side of the road.
