Save Kansas City's Historic Swope Park Disc Golf Course

Swope Park Disc Golf Course has been around for 35 years.... enough said.

Swope Park Disc Golf Course is a jewel for this city. Believe it or not, it is a destination for people driving through as well as planned events for amateur and pro alike. Weekly leagues and tournaments bring revenues to local establishments as well. Why wipe out the blood and sweat that so many have volunteered into this course for decades when a different plot of land is accessible to the Animal Shelter?

Swope Park is big enough for both the animal shelter and the disc golf course if the plan stays to its original proposal.

In 20 years this will sound absurd, this is a big piece of disc golf history.

We have supported and raised thousands of dollars for KC and Charities . Families traveling from all over the world to play Swope Swope is the second larges park in the country with thousands of acres There are many other suitable locations for the animal shelter Save Swope Disc Golf coarse

All for the KC Pet Project, but surely there is a place somewhere on Swope Park land that doesn't displace an institution such as the disc golf course!

Fun Disc Golf Course

I am a Canadian citizen and 7x World Disc Golf Champion. I have travelled to Kansas City many times specifically to play in tournaments at Swope Park. Please preserve this historic disc golf course.

Disc Golf brings people of all ages and abilities together for healthy fun!

The destruction of this historic course makes no sense.

I’ve been playing this course for almost 30 years. I would hate to see this beautiful spot wasted.

I've started coming from f oh r hours away to play a few tournaments at this course...very nice course and fun. It would be a shame to see it go.

Really hoping this works. Swope Park DGC is the meta of all DG here in KC, and one of he most known courses nationally as well.
