Live in Des Moines and Swope is a bucket list disc golf course for people outside the KC area. Don't get rid of it!

This is a historic course that lots of us in Columbia like to come play. Please save this course!

There are hundreds of other, better places to put this new shelter. While a noble endeavor, destroying usable open park space is not the way to proceed.

Swope park is a diamond in the rough! The park would continue to benefit from the disc golf traffic. More people at the park = safer parks!

Swope is my second home! I've been playing for 11 years now with my son now 17 and my daughter now 6!we love that beautiful course! I have a lot of fun on that course and good memories and i don't want those moments with my kids playing swope park disc golf to end!

As a KC metro resident and disc golfer, I have had the opportunity to enjoy Swope Park disc golf course on many occasions. I would hate to see this course taken away.
