People are more important than dogs. Historically disc golf has provided the community with recreation and competition. What a terrible decision this is. Save the disc golf course!

I play pretty frequently despite living in the Northland and I'm sure I'm far from the only one making a journey to play here. Tournaments take place here, leagues take place here, and when events aren't happening, you'll find this course busy with disc golfers. It's great there's interest in a no-kill shelter but it belongs somewhere else; not on our historic disc golf course.

Easily one of the cleanest and nicest disc golf courses I've played while traveling. I ALWAYS play Swope whenever I'm near enough to KC.

I have lived outside of KC my whole life and swope was one of the first full size courses that I played. I know so many people that call this course Home. Please don’t take our course away!!

Compromise and save recreational areas such as Swope’s. Outdoor activities should be preserved and encourage people to be active and enjoy the park.

Disappointed in the change in plans. There is more than enough acreage to share amongst both intentions. Please reconsider KCPR and KC BD.
