Please consider using alternative locations for this great cause instead of destroying a historic course. This course is used and loved by many people on a daily basis,

KC is a Mecca of disc golf, and this is one of the gems. 6 months out of the year, disc golfers are the only people in the whole park.

First played this course in 1998 at my first worlds. Love that place. Isn't there room across the street for the shelter?

Please keep space available for the course. This land is beautified from the gracious volunteer work of disc golfers for three decades and is used and appreciated by men, women and children of all walks of life.

Swope Park is historically valuable to Kansas city's contributions to the game of disc golf for the past 35 years. Wouldn't it be a shame to destroy part of the culture of this great city? Keeping the course even partially, will open up many future opportunities for the City, disc golf community and the shelter to work together for raising funds / awareness. We, as a community give back. It's our culture! I know of a few hundred golfers that love nothing better than a good charity event!

This is a great course and shouldn’t be taken away. There are many great memories formed on this course and it’s a dream to play here.

I make an annual trip (or two) to K.C. just to play disc golf at several parks, but always make it to Swope Park. Please don't take this disc golf course away from us!
