Dont take away one benefit of the park to add another. There is room for both. Swope is a great course and the reason for the park is to get people out to enjoy it and be outside.

I love Dogs and love disc golf. lets keep the new dog park out of the middle course. This bait and switch to the voters. Swope brings in people from all over the world.

Surely there is another location that can be used for the shelter.?. These courses are our livelihood. Being from Oklahoma City, we were able to save our oldest course with the help of the community and we came to an agreement, with the city, to work together. Hopefully this can work in a way where all parties can be happy and a home for the love of the sport can stay right where it was meant to be. Please keep this course. We, the DG Community,would be forever grateful. Best of luck keeping all sides happy and loving their respective places.

I have many fond memories of playing this course. It's known by players from many states as a tough, fair and beautiful course. It is a shame that all the good disc golf clubs and disc golf enthusiast do to keep the park in good repair means nothing to the city. By having people playing the course other elements do t want to be there. Too many eyes on their elicit actibities. Keep Swope.

To remove this course would be an abomination. I've called this course home for the 15 years I've been playing the sport. So many of us need this course, as the only real option to play this close to our homes. Swope is the second largest city park in the country, next to Cental of course, so at the very least give us another chunk of land. I have personally examined arial maps; there is plenty of room for several other disc golf courses let alone one. This is tragic.

Please consider removing the iconic Swope Park disc golf course in its entirety. Please consider using the original plan to only remove part of the course and allow a redesign. As a newer disc golfer, swope has allowed me to gain a larger respect for the game. The game has allowed me to lose weight, spend more time in the beautiful city, and meet many incredible people.
