I live in texas but have played the park a hand full of times I enjoyed it so much the 1st time I make it a point to play it anytime I'm in the area

Please save this course! I've heard so much about this course and have yet to ever play it! Surely there is another alternative for this park shelter?

That park is huge with many vast, open spaces. This seems like something that could easily be placed without impacting the disc golf course.

Disc golf is a wonderful sport that is affordable and allows families to enjoy outdoor activities. We also care for the abandoned and mistreated pets of the world, but there has to be another option other that this.

I'm from out of town but love playing this course when I come to town. This course has had many tournaments held on it and has brought thousands of disc golfers to this park.

This is a disc golf park rich in history and a place for families to get together and enjoy the outdoors together while exercising and playing the fastest growing activity on the planet. Please don’t remove disc golf at Swope.

Please keep this course! Swope park has an awesome history of one of the fastest-growing Sports in the nation disc golf. The. course is beautiful and very challenging. I live out of state and whenever I hear anybody talking about Kansas City disc golf they always say play Swope Park. It would be a shame to lose such an amazing course.

I travelled from Australia last year to the US and Swope was one of the courses on my list of places to play, so consider your bringing International guests to this park from 10000 miles away. Please consider this park and the history that it’s disc golf users have at this community location, it’s a widely known location for travellers like myself.

I’m a KCMO resident and this is the closest course to my house. It’s a great source of enjoyment for me and the thousands of disc golf players across Kansas City. Thousands of volunteer hours have been put in to make and maintain this place.
I’m also a regular donor to the KC Pet Project. They do great work and desperately need a new shelter. But we were lied to about the original location for the shelter and now they want to take the entire golf park instead of 2 holes. This is totally unnecessary. Swope Park has so much available land! Dogs do not care where they are sheltered.
