Please save this championship disc golf course for future generations. People need more opportunities to exercise, not fewer.

It's a great course. We'd love to have the animal shelter too, but why not keep it at the 5-6 acres at the corner of Elmwood and Gregory as originally discussed?

I am from Michigan but have traveled to Kansas City and chose to play Swopes park. It was a great course and we enjoyed it a lot. Not only are locals playing this, but it's helping to bring people to the area like me as well.

This is the oldest course in Missouri, older than any in Kansas. It is also a world class course with significant international history. This course is also family friendly and is usually set for even beginners to enjoy. The significant disc golf participation discourages unlawful activities. We are so very conscious to nature preservation, caring for trees and landscape, as well as regular litter/trash/limbs clean-up. Please keep Swope disc golf course.

My family and I are frequent visitors of Swope Park disc golf course. It provides an invaluable resource to thousands of residents. We also rescue all our dogs, so we understand both sides. The park has an abundance of land and surely a better plan can be implemented.
