Swope's disc course is one of the best in KC. Keep the park open and encourage people to get outdoors and put their phones down for a couple of hours.

Swope has been my home course for years, and I would hate to see it disappear completely. Surely there is some way to keep both parties happy. There is plenty of land available at Swope Park for an animal shelter, so why tear down a historic course to build it?

This is an iconic course that is known across the country. There are other locations to build a shelter without sacrificing such an incredible part of the Kansas City. Please reconsider.

The phrase: 'The Best Things in Life are FREE' cannot be applied to many things in todays world. So, Please Please Please Preserve the Swope DISC Golf Course for us Humans.

I played my first, out of state, sanctioned event at this park. Can't stand the thought of the disc golf world losing it!

Please find somewhere else for the no-kill shelter. The location you've chosen is already used, loved, and taken care of by the community for other purposes.

As someone who proudly claims Kansas City as my hometown, I am saddened by the potential loss of this great course. When I come home to visit or have an opportunity to come to town for business at the top of my list of things to do is playing Swope Park. I have shared that love with other friends as we take trips to visit the local courses and cannot imagine having this fantastic historical venue available anymore.

PLEASE save this beautiful course. I'm from Texas and I only wish that our courses were as beautiful and well kept as the Swope DG course is !
