But seriously, please don't remove the disc golf park. Best course in the city, in my opinion. There are plenty of other places to put the no-kill shelter.

I fully support the animal shelter as well, but please not at the expense of the disc golf course. This is Kansas City's most historic course and is used for many professional tournaments, the Kansas City Corporate Challenge, and has been a league home to many patrons for years. It would be a shame to get rid of this course. Please try to find a resolution that allows both the shelter and the disc golf course to be a part of Kansas City tradition moving forward.

This park course brings value, and community, along with out of town visitors that the KC Pet Project simply can't deliver to users. Save this course and save disc golf history! KC plays a huge role in disc golf that the mainstream doesn't yet realize.

I have been a dog owner my entire life and support the shelter. All three of my sons play disc golf at the park very often. Keep room for both.
