This is ridiculous. This land was donated to the city for use as a park, not a shelter that can be stuck anywhere. Lazy, poor planning, by a lazy group with poor ideas. Hey, maybe we can get the street car, another crap project, to run past this shelter.

Keep the Disc Golf Course, it is a legacy and should be preserved. The pet shelter is needed but the course shouldn't be thrown away.

I don't play but have a wonderful friend that does. The course is already here, please find another area for the animal shelter.

Do not pave over this Kansas City treasure! There is room for the shelter to be accommodated without destroying existing amenities!

Been traveling to KC on business for years and this course always provided me with an outlet after a hard day in the office...please keep Swope a Disc golf park!!

Please don't take away a wonderful and historic park for a shelter! The disc golf course is wonderful and players are great caretakers.

Surely there is under utilized or abandoned property that would also be appropriate for a shelter- please don't remove a beloved disc golf course that has been a haven for so many men, women, and children over the last 35 years! Thank you.

The sport of disc golf and the players who play bring tremendous economic and social opportunities wherever those parks are installed. Swope is no exception. Removing Swope disc golf course would be like removing the historic horse fountain on the plaza. Please save the great seen and unseen value Swope disc golf course brings to the East side of KC.
