I played Swope for the 1999 Amatuer World Championships. I loved the course. Since then, I've been back seveal times to play it and the surrounding area courses. Please don't make the mistake of changing anything about this park and Disc Golf Course.

I am a long time frisbee golf player. I have many friends from all over the US that come to KC for tournaments and Swope is the favorite course.

I live in Louisville KY and I'm a traveling disc golf player. I've had the pleasure of playing this awesome course. It's so beautiful and amazing too play..please do not take away from the Disc Golfers they have put alot of time..money and energy into this course and the sport they love.

Swope Park is not only an essential part of disc golf in the Kansas City area, but it is also known throughout the sport as an excellent venue for one of the sport's largest annual events, the Kansas City Wide Open. The importance of this course goes well beyond the local area.

With the large amount of undeveloped and usable land in the park why choose to eliminate a popular Disc Golf Course that brings in citizens from around the region and United States. Disc Golf is low maintenance and keeps the citizens engaged and active
