I've travelled from the east coast to play disc golf in Kansas several times over the past twenty years and always play Swope when I do. It would be a tragedy to remove such a historica course when there is plenty of other park space for the pets.

You can build the shelter and save the disc golf course. I'm sure the city has the ability to do it.

Please consider the historical value of the Swope Disc Golf Course. Being that Swope Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country, please thoughtfully consider other acreage within the boundaries of the park.

This park is a historic park! Home to many... this park also keeps many young people off of the streets and active in a sport that keeps them out of trouble. Removing his amazing course would not only be horrible for the players, but also for the community! There is so much land within the entire Swope Park- find other land closer to the dog park that will suite the shelter more!

This is one of the area's best features and attractions, and among the best disc courses in the KC metro!

This is a great asset to the city. Being able to play this course was one of the reasons I chose to stop in KC for a few days while traveling. Many others plan stops along their various trips for the same reason.

Please reconsider the removal of this historic disc golf course. This is a beautiful course and should remain as a staple of Kansas City disc golf.
