I just read the SRRBBL by-laws and they are a joke! Can anyone tell me who are the 3 BoD's? Can't find that anywhere on the site.

It is (was) a great league. Both of my kids enjoyed playing in the league's rec and travel programs. Brad Reck worked hard to build the league into a successful entity. To honor his memory, let's work to keep it that way!

I do not like what I am seeing (unprofessional and offensive email from board member towards a parent, calling parents - your clients - witless and other derrogatory terms) and hearing from trusted sources.

This is so disappointing and do not want my daughter involved with a messed up organization. I am especially disgusted at the music videos put out by the head of this organization.

I don't have any kids in the league and I saw red flags everywhere before all of this even started. It is a shame that Parks and Rec let's this operation use RBMS and take advantage of the community.

I can't believe this is happening in our community. We have been involved with SRRBL for many years (I have coached with SRRBL and other programs) and been blessed with some great coaches (Hickey, Ables and many others) and for the Board to deny coaches to coach for this season who have questioned the Board and volunteered this year and have coached previous years is just wrong!!! These coaches are an asset and a mentor to our children! We all volunteer to make this program the best it can be and don't understand why the Board can't produce simple requests.
Tried to explain to my 12 year old who wants to play and she says,"I just want to play ball, why is this happening?"
Hopefully, we can get this resolved for our children's sake!

I've really tried to stay partial here, not knowing all that may or may not have happened. However with the recent decision to not allow Tom Hickey coach this year is a big red flag for me. I understand Tom has been vocal, but if the organization was truly a non profit, for kids organization, it would address the issues, not exclude high quality individuals like Tom.
If this has happen to other folks, please don't take any offense. I know Tom well, have coached with him, have trusted my kids with him. So I think I know him fairly well. Well enough to know that anyone acting against Tom is not acting in the best interest of the organization.

The league started to decline the last year I was involved as a coach/commissioner. I was involved from 2000 - 2012 and saw a great difference in the management style of the new board. It was very obvious that new members had other interests than the children/players. Something needs to be done for the next generation of players in the Seneca Ridge / River Bend area. Removing volunteers because they "speak up" is not the answer.

The First petition we held in March to SRRBBL Board Members to hold elections had 50 signatures. That was before all of the info was distributed. We almost have triple that since the info is "out there" as more and more people are seeing what a few of us saw last season. I thank everyone that have signed. It shows that the SRRBBL Community will not put up with a league that is poorly managed .

I started boycotting this league the year after the uniform nepotism fiasco. Change is necessary and more Board positions should be added to address player development, fundraising, coaching coordination, etc.

The vast majority of coaches and staff have done a great service coaching and mentoring these children. Take out the trash and let the league continue the outstanding work that brings many rewards to countless families in the region.

Completely unacceptable. PRCS should not allow the organization to use its facilities until the current board resolves all outstanding discrepancies or steps down and allows for an interim board to govern. Here we are a few weeks left for regular registration and the league is in utter chaos. Our kids deserve better.

full disclosure is required. This is a non-profit organization and should be subject to an IRS audit based on the reported numbers. If there is nothing wrong, there should be nothing fear.

I'm not a disgruntled coach/parent with an axe to grind as the Board would like you to believe. I've volunteered in many positions for 7 years in this league. When I spoke out as a concerned parent about the operations of the league, offering suggestions for improvement, the Board removed my email address from league communications and barred me from interviewing for the SRMS girls travel team coaching position. The league and community is being manipulated by this Board and change is necessary.

This is a community league for community kids. It needs leadership that will protect that.
I can't believe the obvious evidence of gross mismanagement and perhaps something worse. The program is too important to the community and to the high schools it feeds into to let this continue to happen. As a parent of 3 kids who played in this league over the last 8 years, I wish I had paid more attention and am grateful to those who did.
