There is either gross incompetence, gross negligence or something far more nefarious that demands an open and honest evaluation of the books. A volunteer organization is not meant to be hijacked where financial records, election results, and the manipulation of bylaws are adjusted to ensure the continuation of the current board. All board members should be open to a fair election--these positions and the league itself were established for the kids; its was not meant to provide people with a full-time job. If anything, more board members can be involved to take the burden off any one person. Anything else just seems too suspicious.

If there's nothing to hide, than open books and an audit by a qualified, impartial accountant should put the matter quickly to rest.

SRRBBL should provide full access to how much they are receiving, and precisely how and when funds are being raised and disbursed. This is a common practice for not for profits that have nothing to hide. Full transparency is the only way for this organization to regain the public’s trust.

I have signed the petition because it is not fair to the community and kids for this to continue as is. We all must stand up and demand change, keeping the status quo is not an option. Change never starts at the top but at the bottom, which is the SRRBBL Community.
