John Salamone needs to leave this league ASAP. He is the most rude and condescending person I believe I have ever met in my life. Anton is clueless at running an effective organization, and his cronies are equally incompetent and rude.

Thanks for all that have signed this petition and put effort into changing SRRBBL. Unfortunately, the SRRBBL board will not recognize that the SRRBBL community wanted a chance, an opportunity, to elect new membership. They dug in and will not budge. This and other actions or inactions are signs of poor leadership. I urge people to continue to ask the board questions about how they run the league.

This league has had poor leadership for far too long. This community is has too many good parents who do not have a voice bc one commissioner wants to dictate every decision without following up and without being a true pillar and supporter of the community

I have been and still am confused on why the SRRBBL BOD nor their Lawyer has not explained why they filed a 990-N claiming less than $50k in gross Income to the IRS since 2012. One would think if the BOD thought they did things properly, they would defend their decision to file a 990-N. Nine months after a few of us officially asked for an explanation, we still don't have one.

I support friends who's children play in this league and volunteer their time to coach and manage. There appears to be some strange events and getting to the bottom of the finances and how the league operates would be beneficial to all.

My kids have had an enormous amount of pleasure from participating in this league for the past 10 seasons. I am shocked by what is happening and hope that things can return quickly to the essence of what this league is about - nurturing our kids.

There is a new league in Sterling that serves all the elementary schools (Grades 3-5). I have been working with PRCS on getting SBL up and running since last year for grades 3-5. I am the commissioner of Sterling Basketball League and if anyone is looking for a better league focused on developing basketball skills and teaching life lessons to our youth then consider joining us. We are in need of founding directors, league officers, coaches and players.
Given all the issues with SRRBL I would be willing to expand the league to include all the middle schools in sterling including Seneca Ridge and River Bend. If anyone is interested in such an expansion and a fresh start or would like to register their 3rd to 5th grader with Sterling Basketball league please visit sterlingbasketball.org and/or contact me .

Financial transparency is needed. We the parents fund this league, and we hold the right to elect Board Members and understand how funds are allocated. Legitimate Board elections must occur. SRRBBL: do what's right and decent for the sake of our children and our community.

I think we need to address as follows: Seek an injunction against the current board member's authority to lead, dissolve the board, hold an open general election, reconstitute a new board and establish a new set of bylaws. If that can't happen by October 2017, then we need to petition the schools to dismiss SRRBBL and open a new league w middle school ties.

I questioned this group from the start of my daughter's 6th grade. The lack of participation and organization clearly shows only a portion of the other issues with the league.

@ Lynn and Greg...spend some time reviewing the websites of other youth sports leagues in Loudoun. The board of directors are clearly defined by their role and contact information is provided for each. You won't locate that information on SRRBBL's website, at least none that I could find. Which begs the question, of the three individuals Greg listed, what is their their role on the board? Given the financial discrepancies that were pulled from public records, who is responsible for the leagues finances and why are they not stepping forward with data to show everything is above board? These individuals are clearly digging in and hoping the storm will blow over. Change needs to occur, so that credibility can be brought back to this league.
