I think it would be a shame for the local community to loose this facility.

This is an important facility not just for the school but for the community as a whole. To teach youngsters to swim from an early age is in my view one of the best life skills a child should learn. This pool should definitely stay open!!!

Makes me laugh. The government are constantly telling us we need to get our children moving more so PCC decide to shut down our local school pool. Well done we know it's nothing more than a money saving opportunity at the expense of our children.

This community resource is so important. The loss of its use already has had a negative impact on the local children who need to use it. We need investment now to ensure it is renovated. I implore you to consider the future, and invest in the pool.

Find a way round this. The pool is an asset to the community and the school so it should stay.

My daughter and my grandchildren were taught to swim in this pool. It would be a travestie if this facility was removed. The city can ill afford to lose this pool.

I learnt to swim in this pool. It was a great asset to the school then and should be an asset today.

We are an island nation and we are a coastal city, it is imperative that our children learn to swim and there are already too few safe places so closing one of them is very short sighted

It would be a great shame to lose this facility.

I learnt to swim in this pool when I was 9 and then attended the school -class of '89. It seems a shame to lose the pool for a mere 65 pupils?
