This petition is to work toward the effort of trying to have her rehired and back in the place she belongs in our school and our lives. I have been in active communication with several faculty members regarding the recent administrative decisions. While their responses remain guarded, the sheer volume of signatures on this petition has ensured that our concerns are no longer being ignored by the administration.

The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond my initial expectations. It is clear that the community recognizes the value of Ms. Soto and remains committed to seeing her return to the classroom.

I feel the same pain as all the pationers my favorite teacher stripped of her position by a spray bottle and a low tolerance for bad behavior
It's unbelievable that a teacher in today's world would be let go for such petty thing.
She was my favorite teacher. I absolutely miss her. Even though she hasn't been gone for long. The class feels empty without her. School isn't the same without her. We need her back.
This is insane. The school fired one of our favorite teachers. we need to have her back teaching us or else my grades are in jeopardy!
I personally feel that there is no better bond between the student and teacher when it comes to learning therefore everyone deserves a second chance so rehired Ms. Soto

With the reasons of other teachers being fired at our school (stealing, conspiracy, sexual advances, etc.) it's ridiculous to get fired over waking up a sleeping student.
