We have now been advised that we should start a petition to send to the council about allowing Premier Touch back onto the Shaw Road fields. The council is unaware of the number of teams, players & families who enjoy the Shaw Road venue for Touch Football.
Traditionally rugby & soccer may be considered mainstream sports but we have over 5000 players every week on our Touch Fields across Brisbane. Premier Touch has been a long term loyal supporter of the Shaw Road venue and we have invested over the years in excess of $60,000 per annun of your team fees to maintain the venue.
Please help save Shaw Road as our touch venue and get all your friends, family members & team members to sign this petition. This is an urgent matter.
