I was part of the first graduating class of Freedom HS. We had the valedictorian make a speech then and that is how it should be. They should be able to speak after all the hard work they put in.

Traditions should be honored. They work hard for this accomplishment.

This is an honor and it shouldn't be given away. She worked hard for this or it wouldn't have been given to her and to say she doesn't get to give the speech is not right at all. Bad decision on the schools part.

This is absurdity. Why change this honorable tradition and deny the valedictorian the right to speak? Please stick to the tradition and let her speak. She has earned it.

This school should be ashamed. Give her her speech back!

This decision is wrong. I pray that it is reconsidered and that the right outcome is realized. Congratulations on all of your hard work and achievements. No matter what happens, no one can take that away from you!
