PLEASE SAVE THE POOL, ACTUALLY RE-DO IT, DONT DESTROY IT! My daughter swam for SFHS and all teams form all schools train here,, it is such a busy place as it is - my daughter trained here for SFHS and the kids start at 4:30 in the morning and then go again 5 days a week after school as well. This teaches them discipline, responsibility, working as a team, keeps them strong physically and mentally,,, they need their own pool to train in and our community needs to support them not tear them down!

First, Coach Shelt, and then Coach Wells helped me through some very hard times. Please keep the pool. There are some kids out there that need the opportunity that swimming provides.

I have 3 children, now adults that started on the club team when they were very young, swam for MCHS, worked as lifeguards, and taught swim lessons at Martin County pool. I cannot tell you how invaluable this experience was for them. It taught them many life lessons that helped them through college among other things, kept them strong physically and mentally and gave them a safe place to belong.

To think Sailfish Splash is able to handle the swimming needs of our community is a fantasy. We need options. The MCHS pool was always a great option until it became off limits for residents of our area. I had a season pass to SS and often it was unavailable. I miss the MCHS pool so much. To close it down would be a huge mistake.

I’ve lived here all my life and have always gone to that pool. To close it down now would ruin so many memories and future memories for others. The special Olympics team for swimming used to go there all the time and no one wants to see it gone
