More pools are needed. There are very few pools here compared to other areas of the country. Needed for water safety.

Do not close this pool. Not only is this pool used by the schools it is also used by the community. Without this pool many in the community will not learn the basic skill of swimming. Drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional death worldwide and the 2nd leading cause of death in children. So unless you want death on your hands I strongly urge that you keep this pool open for the community. Keep it open so the high school teams and club team have room to practice and compete. Keep it open for open swim to allow residents to exercise and to reduce obesity while improving cardiovascular health. Keep it open for the fun kids have when they play in Martin County Community Pool.

Closing a pool in your area makes no sense whatsoever. The pool is highly utilized and would only serve to negatively impact all ages of swimming in the Stuart, Martin Co. area.

This pool is critical for MCHS swimmers and local kids learning to swim.

This would be like closing any part of the school limiting the resources and opportunities for the students to develop and grow. Would be a huge mistake.

We dont need to close this pool we need to increase access to it. Only other pool in town is dominated by a youth swim club.

There are NOT enough public pools in this area. We need this one AND more of them, too!

With the current water conditions in our river and at the beaches, Martin County needs all the pool facilities we have and many more. All children and adults need to know how to swim. Do not take the valuable resource away from our community!!!

Please keep the pool open. It is a benefit to the students and to the community. Overcrowding at Sailfish will just cause everyone stress and teams will be frustrated. Its already crowded over there.

We should be encouraging participation by opening more facilities. This proposal goes against "keep our children off the streets" policy

This pool means the world to so many people, including myself, who learned to swim here, came here for summer rec swim and swam here in high school. Swimming for Martin County and Coach McCombs is a great sense of pride. It would be a great shame to the community for this pool to close.

I used to swim for MCA and MCHS. Swimming taught me discipline, time management, and hard work, all of which are skills I used in college and now dental school. If it were not for this pool, I would not have had 4 years of great friendships and amazing memories.
When we had to share the pool with 2 other high schools, they became very crowded which makes practices very ineffective.
Save this pool and preserve a huge part of our community.
