Swimming is one of the best sports. It also has the least amount of impact on ones body. This pool is needed for our young athletes and those that don’t think about our kids in Martin County should look for a new position. You were voted in to protect the best interests of our kids.

As a proud MCHS Alumni and parent of a current high school swimmer at a school that does Not have a pool. the possibility of having an on campus pool would greatly improve the access to and benefit for the students.

First of all regardless of how the tax increase is being applied there is a school tax increase. Secondly how many times is this pool going to com e under threat. Enough already.

My daughter swam here and then she continued to swim for UCF club team. It’s so important for kids.

This has been a necessary staple in our community. Removing it would just be cruel and not make sense because of how many it serves.

As a member of the swimming community I have seen how swimming has taught so many life skills to those that team members. The house of training teach time management skills due to the hours of training, great sportsmanship, and goal setting. It also produces many lifeguards that contribute to the safety of the community. There have been many a story in the news of a past or present swim team member that saved a person from drowning. Name another sport that gives back to the community like that! Training takes a lot of hours in the pool and there isn't enough room at sailfish to accommodate all the teams. In a state that is surrounded by water, having multiple pools available is essential and the more community pools training swimming is essential..
