Shame to see something so important as hands on learning and experience in real time destroyed. Instead, everything must be done to keep this successful program that means so much to the students and the community.

Please save the farm! I pass by it 4 times a day and can't imagine it gone. Not everything needs to be torn out for more of the same old thing: cookie-cutter housing, chain restaurants, etc. Please let it be.

I have been a long time valley resident and buy my pumpkins, Christmas trees and fresh produce from the farm. Please don't make our only place to buy pumpkins and Christmas trees be HOME DEPOT! The people are friendly and helpful and it would be a SHAME to see another apartment building sprout up.

This is a fantastic place to get food, as well as a nice change of pace for the usually traffic ridden valley.
also: Why get rid of the agriculture program at all? It's been part of pierce for ages, and seriously: does Woodland Hills really need another building?

I drive through this part of the valley every day on my way to the law school over by the courthouse in Chatsworth. Part of what makes it a great drive is having the option to take routes that don't just lead through corridors of strip- and full-size malls and car dealerships. Please let the San Fernando Valley retain some of its roots... it was a farming community in its past, and we should try to retain as much of the little bit that still remains as possible.

I'm a dairyman myself in Chino. I'm 22 and given the opportunity i would've loved to go through an ag program here after reading about it. There are plenty of people in my generation that would be interested in the program as well. We need good farmers, the truth is it's terribly difficult to find good workers in our industry now-a-days, especially in my area, San Bernandino County. Having somewhere where we could get educated, motivated workers from would basically be a dream. Because all we have are people who either turn out to be crazy, from some other dairy down the street they got fired from, or a thief in the night. There's more to it, but i won't go into the details as this "comment" would be way too long.
