Please don't close this farm. We moved here 5 years ago and this is THE only thing left in the area with a sense of "Family" and tradition. It is something that you can bring your family to and make memories to last a lifetime.

Although I went to Cal Poly, Pomona, I seriously considered attending Pierce College for their outstanding Ag program. It is a shame that it appears their outstanding program will be destroyed from within.
Please reconsider closing the last vestige of rural valley life in our overcrowded lifespace.

I am a Pierce College student and our farm and agriculture program is a rare gem in the valley and in all of Southern California. Do not close its doors!

I am a pierce college Ag graduate (1963) what a shame. What happened to the original land grant that stated so many aces were always be dedicated to agriculture.

The importance of this program to the LA community and beyond is much greater than some new buildings and making an extra buck. A large amount of today's kids think that food comes from boxes and bags, but this space is one of a few in our concrete jungle that helps our youth (heck, adults too!) learn where their food comes from and even how to grow it themselves. The education that the people already in and entering into the AG industry receive is crucial to keeping our food system healthy and alive for future generations. Please reconsider and look at the greater picture before making this harmful decision.

I've come to be proud to say I live a block away from this farm. I think not only to me but a lot of us in the community. It would be such disappointment and really sad to see it close. I love to come here during Christmas and through out the year for fresh fruit! Please don't close it down!!!
