Sigh....more high density homes coming our way....what about some green space being left to us all? And how much more traffic can Marsh Road handle with all the new construction in South End near us and in Sedgefield?

Our community, our city for that matter, needs greenspace more than it needs another apartment complex.

Our "green space" is in too short of supply. Please don't sell this property to a private developer. Ann Noell

With Sedgefield and surrounding area continuing to grow there is potential that the land may in fact be useful for future Sedgefield Middle enrollment increases. It appears that short term view of access to money for CMS is clouding possible future needs. Additionally healthy schools need to be surrounded by healthy neighborhoods. Increasing the density with multi-family town homes is not the answer to providing an educational and environmentally healthy for the school and the surrounding neighborhood.

Butterfly park is a gem! It's also the only pedestrian connectivity between Dilwoth and Sedgefield. We want to jog and walk in the neighborhood not on thoroughfares. Please don't destroy the serenity and accessibility of this wonderful park.

It makes no sense. You can't just get more green space later. We have to keep what we have!

We do not need any more townhouses, condominiums, or apartments in this area. There are so many currently under construction and the builders keep getting permits to build more, but the streets aren't getting any wider - just so much more pedestrian, bike & car congestion that it is becoming dangerous to drive on South Blvd, Park Rd, and South Tryon St. And soon there will be no green space in South End, Sedgefield, or Colonial Village -just mega houses with no yards and multi-family units!

Use the land to expand Sedgefield Park.
