Sedgefield is already overcrowded and too cogested with cardboard box condos going up on South Blvd and supermarket being built on Poindexter Rd. Crimes will increase and we will lose too many trees and greenland. Nature, wild life, natural habitat will be destroyed. I am opposed to new construction in Sedgefield.

This small area is surrounds by a school and park. My kids and I have played and walked our dog in this field for years. We need more park land!

As a member of this neighborhood I would absolutely hate to see this green space go to the development of more condos/townhomes. Green space is so important!!!

The city as a whole is missing park space. Sedgefield Park is a tiny oasis in a concrete jungle. Don't make it even smaller.

We cannot continue to allow our city to be taken away from us by developers looking for short term personal gains. We must take a stand to ensure there is thoughtful planning as our city grows. Otherwise, we wake up 20 years from now a city of square brown buildings with no green spaces. What kind of city is that??

We need to preserve our green spaces as Charlotte continue its progress. I strongly oppose the sale of CMS lot adjacent to Sedgefield Neighborhood Park.

Keep Sedgefield Neighborhood Park in its natural state. We need more of these places not less. I oppose the sale of this land for commercial development.

This small green space is a gem. My wife and I take walks there several times a week. Green space is at a premium. Do the developers have to ruin everything that makes an area liveable for profit? Who makes these decisions to sell to developers without vetting w the surrounding neighborhood residents? This is shameful.

Absolutely detestable is what comes to mind. Do we need another run of condominiums? No ! Have been taking my family to the adjacent park as well as Coaching baseball(Dilworth) at Sedgefield Middle School for years. Continued destruction of green space does not serve our city at all.

This is outrageous!! Can we keep nothing green! There is a hawk family that raises its babies in a tree every year in that area!!

What's the rush to sell the land?
Park land is an invaluable asset which Charlotte has neglected for its citizens.
