For many years I enjoyed the green space at the "top of the field" for morning and evening walks. Many birders also come through that section of green space to watch the hawks that nest in the tall trees between the field and the roadway. It has high usege by taxpaying citizens - please leave it as green space.

With all the building going on in this area there will come greater need for classrooms! Please don't be so shortsighted. Not to mention removing even more green space!!!

Please, please don't sell this property. We'll never be able to get it back, and that would be a big loss for the community.

Instead of selling it, why not invest in this school so it can compete with other top schools in the district and further benefit those residents who have invested in this area with hopes of having children attend a highly "ranked" school?

I use that greenway on my bike commute to work. It is beautiful Park area, wildlife refuge, and irreplaceable canopy. We don't need more apartment complexes. We do need natural spaces.

Please, please don't ruin this beautiful area! There are so many other places for new development that don't include the massive deforestation this plan does. Thanks for listening!

This land is an oasis in the midst of rampant development. It is used by many residents from several communities and needs to be preserved . Also, it's an educational tool, a living outdoor classroom, that's used by the Montessori students at Sedgefield Middle. This is a valuable learning tool , especially when many students do not have access to natural habitats as city residents, that should not be destroyed for more storm-water pavement and tree destruction. Charlotte needs to protect its dwindling green spaces, not destroy them.

The whole nation has noticed how few green spaces are left here. Please be forward-thinking, not short-sighted.

The last thing we need is more development and townhomes, especially those that would take away green space and animal habitat.
