OUTRAGIOUS the City is out of control on allowing these developers to built these massive apartment complexes and it WILL BE A MASSIVE REGRET BY MECKLENBURG TO HAVE IT TO SPIRAL SO FAR FAR OUT IF CONTROL, for intelligence will reveal build enormous amounts of NEW ROAD SYSTEMS TO ACCOMMODATE THE MASSIVE ANOUNT IF PEOPLE YOUR CRAMING TOGETHER, AND YOU ARE WRONG THEY ARE NOT ALL GOING TO USE THE LIGHT RAIL, THEY ARE GOING TO USE THEIR CARS, THIUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF CARS IN DEADLOCK BECAUSE THERE IS NO SOACE TO BUILD THE BIGGER ROAD WHERE THE CITY IS CRAMMING THESE OVER SIZED HIDIOUS HIGH RISE BUILDINGS BLOCKING THE VIEW IF THE UP TOWN SKY LINE ALL OVER THE PLACE,,THERE ARE THOUSANDS IF OTHER PLACES TO BUILD MEGA APARTMENTS, AND MORE OFF THE ROAD WITH SEPARATE PARKS AND GREEN SPACE FOR THISE TENANTS WITH OUT PLACING THE BUILDINGS RIGHT UP AFAINST TRAFFIC!!!! I support all school bonds since 1993 ( when I moved to mecklenburgh county but do not see this loss of green space with it being sold to a private developer not for the public good is not a good use of public tax money and support. I also support the 2050 canopy goal and it seems counterproductive to sell and lose green space and canopy and make the area more densely populated

Having lived in major cities such as NYC and Washington, DC I have seen first hand the benefits of neighborhood park areas and the necessity of keeping those areas away from development. Charlotte is a rapidly growing city. The park planning and conservation has to occur NOW in order to provide benefits to future generations. Sedgefield Park is a prime example of a high density and rapidly growing area with strains on an already embarrassingly low amount of park space given the extremely rapid growth of families moving to the area. Has the city seen any census data from any time within the last 4 years?? There are hundreds of children now living in the immediate neighborhood that were not there even 4 years ago. I understand CMS is willing to take a quick paycheck to offset their costs and expenses, but we need our politicians to stand up for the families and children of this city and of the Sedgefield Park area and put health, safety and PROPER urban planing needs first before we are relegated to being yet another second or third tier city whose politicians did not have the foresight to make decisions that last longer than their next re-election cycle.

Neighborhood parks are so invaluable!! To have somewhere local that you can take your kids quickly and safely is such a blessing to have here in Charlotte. We DO NOT need more housing options!!

Hi everyone! I go to the 6th grade and don't usually write on petitions. But if you destroy this park and the trees then it will be like our cute butterfly park has become a big moth that will rot in our neighborhood. Please, please don't destroy this land with more buildings! There are already enough condos and apartments nearby!!!

My son is an 8th grader at sedgefield middle
