Please cut money from something else (like the Presidents salary). This place is TOO important to lose. The people of Texas will be the ones who suffer. Seriously, UT has more money than Heinz has pickles, if you really need money, start your search at the top of the payroll.

This museum is an absolute treasure in the Austin Community! Even if the museum began charging admission to help underwrite the cost of running itself, I am sure that area families would be very willing to pay. Please don't take funding away from TMM. As a parent and an educator, this valuable resource is not one our Austin Community can stand to lose.

This museum and the people who work there deserve to remain. My son worked there 4 years which gave him a love and a career with museums!
