To close the Texas Memorial Museum is a short sighted, money driven impulse that will adversely affect many young, curious and eager children. Please do not close the the Texas Mremorial Museum.

I can't believe this museum is being defunded. I have been going since I was a child and I now take my children. Austin has so few truly family oriented museum, let alone free ones. It's such a shame that UT feels cuts must come in the form of community outreach.

Please find funds so that you don't close the Memorial museum -- it is such a wonderful resource for both public, private/Homeschool students & parents ... every kid LOVES dinosaurs and geology. And it is important to show that UT is supportive of these areas of study as well.

My children have spent many afternoons at this museum. It is so nice to have a good nature and science museum locally. Austinites shouldn't have to travel to Houston or Dallas to have a good educational museum experience. Save the TMM!!!

This one of the few (free) resources UT offers to the people and especially the families of Austin, its home city. My family has spent many happy, educational hours there. Please don't take it away!

This museum was an integral part of my childhood. I spend many, many hours there, from the age of four or five. It greatly influenced my love of natural sciences, as well as just being a fun and informative place.

I was brought to this musuem by two different classes as an undergraduate at UT. My visits had a significant impact on my interest in the natural sciences. I later brought my friends and family, and have since brought my own students.
