Stop the re-zoning to urban infill of Rosehill Golf Course and identify and protect important recreational areas such as golf courses

Would be a real shame to see it go. It was my first job picking up the balls on the driving range. My fiancé had to also cancel our wedding that we were going to have at the country club.

The Rosehill golf course is the draw attraction of living in South Guildford.

Recently moved to Waterhall Estate, having the golf course alongside the estate is an added bonus. Would be a shame to see it go and be replaced by housing.

It would appear that there is a link between lack of green open spaces and problems with physical or mental health or both. We do not want our golfers to suffer the loss of their exercise regimen and social groups for that reason.
